Zoning Board tours Burke Road facility proposal

NH PETERBOROUGH — Zoning Board conducts site walk of proposed behavioral health facility. BoldSteps Behavioral Health representatives Joe Curran, Chief Operating Officer, and Chaim Berger, Chief Executive Officer, presented plans for a 60-resident residential facility using existing barn and house structures, staffed by 25 to 30 employees working rotating shifts for continuous 24-hour coverage. The property, ranked highly for wildlife habitat, may be placed in conservation as part of the proposal.
Board members discussed impacts to neighboring properties and school bus routing; ConVal Regional School District has not yet weighed in on bus route impacts.
