Zoning Board finds behavioral health variance application incomplete

Zoning Board · Meeting of March 2, 2026

NH PETERBOROUGH — Peterborough Zoning Board finds behavioral health variance application incomplete. The board voted unanimously to require BoldSteps Behavioral Health to return April 6 with a detailed plot plan and comprehensive studies before reconsidering its variance request to operate a residential drug and alcohol facility in the Rural District on Greenfield Road and Burke Road. Chair Chris DiLoreto and board members cited missing traffic, septic/water impact, fire/EMS, and lighting studies as critical deficiencies.

The board also unanimously voted to conduct a site visit March 16 at the facility and surrounding neighborhood, clarifying that while open for public observation, it would not constitute a hearing.
