NH PETERBOROUGH — Peterborough Conservation Commission prepares trail funding plan and outlines pesticide education initiative. Swift Corwin reported the Cranberry Meadow Trail boardwalk requires perpetual maintenance and recommended a "Friends of" group with credit card donation kiosk; Corwin will discuss with Recreation Department head Craig Fraley. Francie Von Mertens proposed local action on neonicotinoid pesticides, citing research on bee die-off linked to the chemicals; Von Mertens will research how other New Hampshire towns are addressing neonics.
