Library Trustees authorize opposition to state House Bill 1214

NH PETERBOROUGH — Peterborough library board opposes state House Bill 1214. The Trustees voted unanimously to authorize Tina Kriebel to draft an opposition letter to state legislators, to be signed by all board members. The board also accepted a 13,561.77 dollar donation from the 1833 Society and approved the Treasurer's Report after authorizing 1,000 dollars from the Bar Harbor Savings account to cover the insurance deductible for a recently damaged front door, bringing total repair costs to 3,900 dollars.
The board approved a revision to the Research Policy, increasing the consultation fee to up to 50 dollars per hour.
