Library Trustees Approve Door System Replacement, Plan Solar Buyout
Library Trustees · Meeting of July 16, 2026
NH PETERBOROUGH — Peterborough Library Trustees authorize door system replacement citing Windows 11 security vulnerability. Director Corinne Chronopoulos reported the library's access-control system is incompatible with Windows 11, creating a network security risk; the board approved replacement costs not to exceed $12,000. The board also approved a revised Volunteer Policy.
Chronopoulos announced that Nance McMullen will depart October 30, 2026, and Linda Kepner will retire at the end of 2027, and that the library will purchase its solar system on July 1, 2027, for $112,594 with no cost to taxpayers.
