EDA pursues job fair, winter stimulus to boost small business visibility

NH PETERBOROUGH — Peterborough EDA tackles small business visibility through spring job fair and winter events. Following a business survey showing that small business owners feel "invisible" and report a January-March economic lull, the committee brainstormed winter initiatives including bingo cards, treasure hunts, and Maple Madness events. The EDA tentatively scheduled the Monadnock Job and Career Fair for April 23, 2026, at Conval High School, based on last year's success of nearly 40 employers.
Chair Megan Suokko emphasized the need for a town QR code and tourism website to help promote local businesses.
